The rollapaluza winter series keeps on going...last Wednesday at the Horseshoe. I spent the first half of the night trying a crude video shoot with 2 cameras, here is a rough cut of Gertie's race in the qualifying rounds. Using imovie...final cut version with sound levels sorted and maybe in colour too....black and white seemed the easiest way to get around the cameras being different and having differing ideas of white balance and colour .....
Rollapaluza winter series-4 from Jono on Vimeo. Second half of the night i played some tunes, even got the Young Offenders possible first play in EC1...Waxwings!!! Full track list in a bit for anyone who cares.

Here's some reasons to go to Central and South America.......another one is the blog miles you can wring from it for years to come, i went in 2005 for a year and i saw so much that i'm still going on about it in 2009. Saw that Dan Cates went there recently and it gave me itchy feet to get back there sometime....in the meantime here's a load of links to South America stuff including Cate's blog and my clips and pictures.......
Cate's Latin America trip looks a bit like the one i did in 2005....the spots are all still there, not surprising though due to the abundance of concrete. Quito park is huge and the Tilawa hotel is just packed with lines. These spots are actually hundreds of miles apart but looking back it all seemed so close. I guess he will be heading to Lima sometime soon and there are some cool Cate's type spots there so looking forward to seeing what he makes of it all.... Here's a clip from Tilawa when i went there Camped in the bowl at Tilawa Hot all day and night by the lake Fullpipe in Quito is massive. Mancora is on the border between Ecuador and Peru, this is on a hill looking over the town. Blending in with the locals in Peru.
