Rollapaluza 7........................
I played a few records at Rollapaluza 7....here's what went down...
I took singles only because in previous Roller Races there has been a scrum of "DJ's" fighting to get on the decks.....
Proper mixing, legit DJ types unlike myself, i prefer the one after the other, long silences and wrong speed school of
DJing.....heres my set:
Beastie Boys-She's on it
Billy Joel-It's still rock'n'roll to me
Magic Sam-21 days in Jail
Man or Astro Man?-Transmissions from Venus '94
Queen and David Bowie-Under Pressure
Minor Threat-Salad Days
Boogie Down Productions-Stop the violence
Rush-Spirit of Radio
Neneh Cherry-Buffalo Stance
Pee Wee Erwin-Muskrat Ramble and Royal Garden Blues
X-Ray Spex-Identity
Special AKA-Gangsters
The Pogues-Irish Rover
Black Flag-Nervous Breakdown
The Clash-White Riot
Charles Aznavor-Nous Irons A Verone
Electric Frankenstein-I was a punk before you were a punk
Dinosaur Jr-Freak scene
The crazy world of Arthur Brown-Fire!
Stiff Little Fingers-Alternative Ulster
Sensefield-Beautiful Beautiful
J-Church-Girlfriend in a coma
Egghunt-Me and You
Ignition-Proven Hollow
Lag Wagon-Angry Days
Anyway the racing was cool...a report will show up on Moving Target soon i think but bookings taken for wedding music based on the above set list welcome........

A couple of years ago........2003 in fact i went to San Francisco with Siobhan and Tracey. We stayed with Tim and Karen and on the first weekend we headed up to the family holiday home north of S.F. Pete joined the trip and we skated Tim's new ramp and relaxed on the porch. On the way back to town we called in at Novato skatepark where Pete showed everyone what style is.

The Edge construction program.....
It took months to get to this stage, all the clearing out of the unit took forever and then the building itself took another age, looking back it was amazing and the finished bowl was perfect, in fact it still is and its now run by a new guy and he's changed the name to The Boardroom....go there because it is one of the best bowls in the UK and the rest of the park now rules too...its clean and bright and the atmosphere is pretty nice tooThere is a ton more pictures of the construction at my Flickr site so click on the picture here and have a look.
